2018 Delmar Christmas Parade

The Delmar Christmas Parade is scheduled for Saturday Dec. 1st at 2pm.

Our rain date (if needed) is Sat. Dec. 15th at 2pm.

Participation in our parade is FREE, however, ALL entrants MUST have an application on file. 

Deadline for application is:  Tuesday, November 27th.

You can download the application from here :Christmas Parade App. 2018 , download it from our Facebook page (by searching Greater Delmar Chamber of Commerce, or you can pick one up from Delmar Town Hall.  You can also call us on our voicemail, 302-846-3336 and leave your name, address and phone # and we will mail one to you.  (Deadline for us mailing the application is Tuesday, Nov. 20th.  

Please be sure to include your email address on your application in case we need to reach you outside of normal hours about your entry or other notification regarding the parade.  It makes our jobs a LOT easier if we have to reschedule from the original date.

Trophies and plaques will be awarded in several categories.  The list is in the application packet.

Come help us ring in the Christmas season in Delmar!

2018 Citizen of the Year

Please join us in congratulating our 2018 Citizen of the Year:

The Chamber would like to thank everyone who submitted nominations for this prestigious award this year.
Once we have a date set for the award/banquet, we will post that here on our website, as long as post it on our Facebook pages.
What we do know, is it will be held at the Delmar V.F.W., sometime in November after the elections. Stay tuned!

2018 Citizen of the Year Award Banquet

Our 2018 Citizen of the Year nomination boxes will be out August 22nd thru Sept. 17th at the following locations:

Bank of Delmarva, M&T Bank, Delmar Town Hall, Delmar Library and the Delmar Post Office.

If you’d like to nominate someone for this award, complete the nomination form and drop it in the box.  It’s that easy!

There will not be a rain date this year…it’s either happening on the 16th or won’t happen this year.

Participation in the parade is FREE – with application on file.

Deadline for parade applications is Wednesday, Dec. 13th.

The application file is attached.  You may email completed application to us, mail it by regular mail (make sure we RECEIVE it before deadline) or you can drop it off to Delmar Town Hall.
