Best Appearing Float: 1st place Delmar Elementary Singing Bobcats – 2nd place Bi-State Ruritan Club – 3rd place 3C-USA Church.
Best Fire Dept: Bridgeville (Delmar automatically gets a trophy)
Best Appearing Vehicle(s): R. Smith Farms – 2nd place – Eastern Shore Jeep Assn. 3rd place: Mhros Gas
Best Equestrian: Malone Stable
Most Unique Entry: R. Smith Farm
Judges awards: Crown Vic Boys & Girls, CATO, Delmar Pop Warner, Sussex County EMS and Girl Scout Troop 394 Polar Express.
If you did not pick up your trophy or plaque after the parade – please pick up from Roger Martinson at his Edward Jones office in the State Line Plaza in Delmar! Thank you to everyone who participated in our parade this year! It started off kind of iffy with sprinkles, but we all made it! Nice kickoff to the Christmas season! Merry Christmas Delmar!
The Delmar Christmas Parade is scheduled for Saturday Dec. 1st at 2pm.
Our rain date (if needed) is Sat. Dec. 15th at 2pm.
Participation in our parade is FREE, however, ALL entrants MUST have an application on file.
Deadline for application is: Tuesday, November 27th.

You can also call us on our voicemail, 302-846-3336 and leave your name, address and phone # and we will mail one to you. (Deadline for us mailing the application is Tuesday, Nov. 20th.
Please be sure to include your email address on your application in case we need to reach you outside of normal hours about your entry or other notification regarding the parade. It makes our jobs a LOT easier if we have to reschedule from the original date.
Trophies and plaques will be awarded in several categories. The list is in the application packet.

There will not be a rain date this year…it’s either happening on the 16th or won’t happen this year.
